How to Adopt your DLuxxy Maine Coon Kitten

Bringing a new family member home is a big decision — and we are here to make it simple, reassuring, and personal. From your very first inquiry to the moment your kitten steps through the door, we are with you every step of the way.
Here is how the adoption process works:
Step 1. Inquire
Let’s start with a simple conversation. Call, text, or email us with any questions — about our kittens, our program, or what to expect. We are here to help you feel informed and confident. No pressure. No expectations. Just a friendly conversation to see if DLuxxy might be the right fit for your family.
Step 2. Complete and Submit the Maine Coon Placement Application
Once you are ready to move forward, the next step is our Maine Coon Placement Application. This helps us learn more about your family, your home, and what you are looking for in a Maine Coon companion. It also gives you a chance to tell us about your hopes and expectations.
The application is straightforward and designed to be as easy as possible — it’s not a test, just a way for us to get to know you better. The more we understand about your lifestyle, the better we can match you with the perfect kitten.
Step 3. Video Call (From Your Home)
We schedule a friendly and informal video call — at your home, so we can see where your new kitten will be living. This is our chance to get to know your family, learn about your lifestyle, and understand what you are looking for in a Maine Coon companion. It is also your opportunity to ask us anything — about our cats, our program, or what to expect.
Step 4. Reserve Your Match
Once you feel confident that a DLuxxy kitten is a great fit for your family, you can secure your chosen kitten with a deposit. This holds them for you until they are ready to join your family.
Step 5. Watch Them Grow
We provide regular updates with photos and videos so you can watch your kitten develop and grow. You will never miss a moment of their journey. And we are always here for you — to answer questions, offer guidance, and help you prepare for your new kitten’s arrival.
Step 6. Welcome Home
At 10–12 weeks, your kitten is ready to come home. We finalize all the details and arrange a pickup time. The final payment is made at pickup, when you meet your kitten in person and we complete the transition together. Your kitten leaves with a starter kit, vaccination records, and a lifetime of support from our family to yours.

Placing our kittens is a selective process. Our interview ensures every DLuxxy kitten goes to a safe, loving, and prepared forever home. We take this responsibility seriously — and we are grateful for families who do the same.
We do not ship kittens at the present time. In-person pickup ensures the safety of your kitten and gives us the joy of meeting the families who will love them for a lifetime.
